Aberdeen’s high scoring run continued on Saturday in a five goal thriller at Dens Park which the Dons won courtesy of David Goodwillie’s 64th minute header.
Andrew Considine opening the scoring in the fifth minute but Dundee hit back through Gary Harkins just sixty seconds later, however, the Dons were to take a lead into the half time break courtesy of an own goal from James McPake.
The goals continued in the second half with David Clarkson drawing the scores level at 2-2 from the spot, however former Dundee United man David Goodwillie nodded the winner, converting Shay Logan’s pinpoint cross.
