Ross County manager Jim McIntyre wants his men to make amends for their 5-0 home mauling by Celtic when they return to action against Aberdeen at Victoria Park on Monday.
McIntyre is hoping his side can put on a good show in front of their own supporters against the Dons.
He said: “Everyone connected was extremely disappointed with result against Celtic – the performance first and foremost.
“Especially when the cameras are here – and they are here again on Monday – we want to give a good performance. We also want to make sure we’re doing the ugly side of the game well, because we never defended well.
“As good as Celtic were, and let’s not forget they can do that to anyone when they’re on the money, we’ve got to do better and learn from the mistakes we made that day.”
The visit of Aberdeen represents another trial by television for the Staggies.
McIntyre has had no issue readjusting his side’s weekly training schedule in order to comply with the change demanded by TV and believes the night-time fixture could have a positive effect on the match atmosphere.
McIntyre added: “A lot gets made of games being played on Friday nights or Monday nights.
“The bottom line is television puts a lot of money into our league.
“As professionals, we have just got to deal with that.
“It just means different days off and different training days. That’s all it is.
“Instead of playing on Saturday and having Sunday off, we’ll be training.
“I don’t make anything of it at all. It is our next game, it is when it is and we’ll go and prepare for it.
“It’s under the lights and there’s always a special feeling about night games. Aberdeen will bring a good crowd and, hopefully, so will we.
“It will make for a special game.”
