Ross County manager Jim McIntyre believes the attacking quality of Dundee United was the difference between the sides after watching his side lose a five-goal Premiership thriller last night.
A double from Nadir Ciftci and a Stuart Armstrong goal had United 3-0 up before Yoann Arquin and Darren Maatsen netted in the final 15 minutes to give the Staggies hope of saving a point.
McIntyre said: “United were ruthless and we weren’t. We got into some great positions but we were wasteful. To lose a couple of goals on the counterattack hurts.
“There is no doubt we have a never-say-die attitude here and we can’t feel sorry for ourselves. Had we got the first goal it might have been different.”
