Aberdeen have announced they have sold over 12,000 tickets for the upcoming League Cup semi final against Dundee United.
The Dons were awarded an initial allocation of 20,000 for the Hampden tie and the Red Army have already snapped up more than half of the tickets available, just one week after they went on sale.
The tickets originally went on sale to black and gold season ticket holders last Monday, while on Tuesday they became available to season ticket holders and supporters with 10 or more loyalty points and today they went on sale to fans with four or more loyalty points.
The remaining tickets will go on sale on January 6 to fans with two or more loyalty points. All supporters are eligible to purchase two tickets per qualifying account.
