SPFL round up: Santa visits stadiums across Scotland

The Christmas spirit swept across Scotland this afternoon with Santa Claus popping up at grounds across the SPFL.

There may not have been many goals in Scotland today – just six in the Premiership – however, there was plenty of festive joy and fancy dress.

Ross County 0-1 Hamilton Accies

Hamilton match winner Martin Canning made sure to thank Santa after his header secured a 1-0 victory for Accies. 

Aberdeen 1-0 Kilmarnock

Aberdeen was just about too cold for snow today but Peter Pawlett helped to warm the locals, a young Santa included, by firing home the only goal of the game.

St Mirren 0-1 Motherwell

There was plenty of festive cheer in the away end in Paisley this afternoon as Santa and the rest of the Well support celebrated John Sutton’s strike which secured all three points for the visitors.

Hearts 2-0 Alloa

The Tynecastle Santas looked rather chilly here but they were warmed up by goals from James Keatings and Callum Paterson which secured a 2-0 win.
