Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is to recall attacker Declan McManus at the end of his loan spell at Morton to check on his progress.
The 20-year-old has scored 12 times for the League 1 side since August and he will return north after Saturday’s game against Airdrie.
McManus is in the final year of his contract at the Dons and Ton manager Jim Duffy said: “Declan has done well but Derek wants to check him close up. He has been training with us since he came here, so the Dons want to have a look at him over a sustained period before deciding whether he will join their first-team pool or go out on loan again.
“It is a case of wait and see.”
