Ross County have signed Fulham defender Cameron Burgess on loan until the end of the season.
The 19 year-old was born in Aberdeen, but moved to Australia at the age of 11 and last year pledged his international future to the Socceroos.
Burgess played four games for the Cottagers at the start of the season, however manager Kit Symons has farmed him out on loan for the second half of the campaign in order to gain more first-team experience.
At 6ft 4in, Staggies manager Jim McIntyre believes he can add height to his backline, and he becomes County’s second January signing following the addition of forward Craig Curran earlier in the month.
Meanwhile, defender Paul Quinn has agreed a contract extension to remain at Victoria Park until the end of the season.
