We have been gifted with more transfer bids, done deals and rumours today, on a day that it looks like two Scotland stars could be moving abroad to further their careers.
Darren Fletcher
Scotland midfielder Darren Fletcher could be set for a move to La Liga, with Valencia ready to make a bid to sign him on a permanent deal.
However, the Spaniards could face competition for the Manchester United man with West Ham and West Brom both also considering £1.5m bids for the player who is out of contract in the summer.
Shaun Maloney
Another Scotland midfielder who looks to be heading abroad is Shaun Maloney.
The former Celtic man rejected a move to Leicester City last week and is now close to finalising a deal to join Chicago Fire in the Major Soccer League.
Stephen Pearson
Stephen Pearson has signed for Motherwell until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old midfielder, capped 10 times for Scotland, started his career at the Lanarkshire club before moving to Celtic in 2004 before spells at Derby County, Stoke City and Bristol City.
Pearson trained with Motherwell during the summer but signed for Indian Premier League side Kerala Blasters, playing 17 games, before the season finished last month.
Subject to international clearance, he will go straight into the squad for Wednesday night’s Premiership game at Celtic Park.
Derek Riordan
Derek Riordan, remember him? The most talented of the rather talented bunch to come through the Hibs youth system?
Well, after a short spell with Alloa last season, he is now set to begin a trial spell with bottom-of-the-Championship Livingston.
Michael Duffy
Celtic could miss out on signing target Michael Duffy, who has now joined Brentford on trial.
The Derry City man has been on trial twice with Ronny Deila’s men but could now opt for a move south of the border.
Jason Denayer
Ajax are reported to be considering a move for Celtic defender Jason Denayer.
The Belgian centre half is currently on loan from Manchester City but the Hoops were hoping to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
