Dundee winger Jamie Reid has joined Elgin City on loan just a month after returning to Dens Park when a six month loan spell at League 1 side Stenhousemuir ended.
The 21-year-old was an unused substitute in Elgin’s 2-0 win at Berwick Rangers on Saturday with Borough Briggs boss Jim Weir delighted to have Reid on board.
Weir said: “Jamie has gained experience in two loan spells at Stenhousemuir and a similar opportunity at Montrose. He burst onto the scene a few years ago and scored on his Dundee debut when he was just 16 but unfortunately he has not been able to build on that.”
“Hopefully he will enjoy being at Elgin and show everyone what he is capable of.”
