Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes believes his club’s ability to attract the best talent in Scotland has been cemented following a successful transfer window.
The Dons brought in three new players with Kenny McLean’s £300,000 move from St Mirren the headline act.
McLean has been joined at Pittodrie by West Brom defender Donervorn Daniels, who has joined the club on loan for the rest of the season, and young Croat defender Lukas Culjak.
With Caley Thistle midfielder Graeme Shinnie having also signed a pre-contract agreement to join the club in the summer McInnes is satisfied with his wheeling and dealing in the January window.
The Dons manager said: “Kenny sees we’ve got a good side here and also recognises the potential of the club and wants to be part of that.
“The players we have signed have all come here in different forms but the one thing they’ve shared is a recognition this is a club heading in the right direction and they wanted to be part of that journey.”
