Rangers captain Lee McCulloch has been offered a two match ban following his alleged stamp on Raith Rovers midfielder Dale Carrick.
The alleged offence took place during Sunday’s fifth round Scottish Cup tie and McCulloch has now been served with a notice of complaint, offering him a two match suspension.
Under the terms of the punishment, McCulloch would serve one of the matches immediately and the other game ban would apply for McCulloch’s next Scottish Cup match.
McCulloch has until 3pm tomorrow to respond to the complaint, with a hearing arranged to take place on Thursday should the 36-year-old appeal the decision.
