Scottish Championship side Alloa Athletic have signed former Newcastle and Cardiff City striker Michael Chopra.
The 31-year-old striker has penned a deal until the end of the season after leaving Indian Premier League side Kerala Blasters FC.
Chopra made his name at Newcastle United before going on to enjoy a successful career with Cardiff, Sunderland and Ipswich, carving out a reputation as one of the most dangerous strikers in the second tier of English football.
Alloa face Rangers in the Championship this evening but Chopra will only feature if his international clearance comes through in time.
