Ross County manager Jim McIntyre believes his side’s home form will determine if his side remains in the Premiership.
County are unbeaten in five matches, with their recent upsurge taking them four points clear of bottom-placed St Mirren.
Following a dire run where the Staggies lost 10 out of their first 11 home league matches, the Dingwall side has recovered to register three successive victories at Victoria Park.
McIntyre believes his side’s newly-found momentum owes much to their improved home displays, and is determined to keep the run going against Kilmarnock tomorrow.
McIntyre said: “Our home form was much-maligned, and rightly so, it wasn’t good enough. We knew we had to improve, not just our home form but results.
“We always want to make sure we do well at home and, hopefully, we can do the same tomorrow.
“We’re against a side that is seven games unbeaten. They’re in very good form and it should be a good game.”
McIntyre believes County’s supporters are finally being rewarded for their backing of the team, and added: “If we can start the game well, that can be huge. Winning was a long time coming for the crowd and ourselves.
“The supporters have become far more vocal, as any home crowd would when results start to turn and they start to see good performances.”
