Alloa Athletic have unveiled Danny Lennon as the club’s new manager.
The former St Mirren boss took temporary charge of the Scotland Under-21 team following his departure from Paisley, however he has today been confirmed as the new boss at the Championship club.
Lennon, 46, replaces Barry Smith who resigned from the position on March 7 following a defeat against Dumbarton.
Alloa were heavily beaten, 4-0, in the final of the Petrofac Training Cup on Sunday and have appointed Lennon in an attempt to beat relegation. The club currently lie ninth in the Championship but they are only two points behind eighth place Cowdenbeath and have a game in hand.
Lennon is believed to have signed a deal until the end of next season.
