The shortlist was announced this afternoon for the PFA Player of the Year award with one Aberdeen player, one Dundee player and two players from Parkhead all nominated.
Aberdeen’s Adam Rooney has been named on the shortlist alongside Celtic duo Virgil van Dijk and Stefan Johansen as well as Dundee forward Greg Stewart.
25-year-old Stewart has made the shortlist in his first season in full time football after netting 15 goals to help Dundee to a top-six finish in the Scottish Premiership after joining from part-time Championship side Cowdenbeath in the summer.
Rooney has scored 27 goals in all competitions while midfielder Johansen has 12 goals and has played an increasingly influential role in the Celtic midfield.
Van Dijk has hit 10 goals from central defence after following up an impressive debut season.
But who do you think is most deserving of the award?
