Brora go into next week’s play off final second leg with the upper hand after earning a valuable 1-0 win over Montrose at Dudgeon Park this afternoon.
Over 500 people turned up to watch the Highland League champions take on their SPFL opponents, with a place in League Two to play for.
Brora impressed for large spells but required a slice of fortune for the winning goal, in the 39th minute, with Montrose defender Marvin Andrews heading into his own net when under pressure from Brora forward Steven Mackay.
With just one goal separating the teams, the tie is finely poised for next weekend’s second leg at Links Park.
