Ross County have appealed the red card shown to Filip Kiss in the latter stages of Saturday’s 2-1 win against Hamilton Accies.
Kiss was shown a straight red card for violent conduct after 80 minutes, after referee Bobby Madden alleged the Slovakian of lashing out at Accies defender Jesus Garcia Tena.
The match was locked at 1-1 at the time, however County offset the numerical disadvantage, with attacker Liam Boyce scoring the late winner that secured the Staggies’ Premiership status.
However County have today appealed the decision, and if successful the 24 year-old will be free to play in Saturday’s away match against Kilmarnock.
The game could be Kiss’ final match for the club, with the midfielder’s year-long loan deal from Cardiff City due to expire at the end of the season.
