Ross County midfielder Raffaele De Vita has agreed a two-year contract at Victoria Park.
Having clinched Premiership safety at the weekend with a 2-1 win against Hamilton Accies, Staggies manager Jim McIntyre has started the rebuilding process ahead of next season, and has moved quickly to sign up Italian De Vita on an extended contract.
De Vita has been a big success since joining on a free transfer from Cheltenham Town in January, scoring three goals in 13 appearances, and being awarded Premiership Player of the Month for March.
Discussions are also underway with Paul Quinn, Martin Woods, Scott Boyd, Michael Gardyne, Rocco Quinn and Steven Ross, while McIntyre has expressed his desire to keep on-loan Celtic midfielder Jackson Irvine at the club.
Meanwhile, defender Darren Barr has become the latest player to be released by the Staggies, joining the lengthy list of 14 players told they have no future at the club McIntyre on Wednesday.
Barr made just six appearances for County, having missed most of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.
