Gardyne and Boyd agree new Ross County deals

Ross County's Michael Gardyne has set a club goalscoring record with 60 strikes for the Staggies.
Ross County's Michael Gardyne has set a club goalscoring record with 60 strikes for the Staggies.

Michael Gardyne and Scott Boyd are the latest players to commit their futures to Ross County.

Both players have signed two year deals which will keep them at the club until 2017.

Gardyne, who was released by Dundee United at the end of the season, spent the last campaign on loan at County, scoring six goals in 26 appearances.

Twenty-eight-year-old Boyd has been at the Dingwall club since 2007.

The pair follow Rocco Quinn, Raffaele De Vita, Craig Curran, Liam Boyce and Marcus Fraser who have all signed contract extensions.

Earlier this week, midfielder Ian McShane joined the Staggies from Queen of the South on a three year deal.
