Ross County sign Partick Thistle goalkeeper Scott Fox

Ross County have completed the signing of former Partick Thistle goalkeeper Scott Fox.

Fox, who was called up to the Scotland squad in 2013, spent the last five years at Thistle but joins the Staggies after rejecting a new contract at Firhill.

The 27-year-old has signed a two year deal with the Dingwall side.

Manager Jim McIntyre told the official Staggies website: “I’m delighted to add a goalkeeper of Scott’s calibre to the squad.

“He’s a player I’ve admired for a long time, very much a modern day keeper. He’s good with the back pass, kicks the ball well and has a safe pair of hands.”
