- Celtic are looking to sign Montpellier winger Anthony Mounier. Scouts from the Parkhead club have watched the 27-year-old Frenchman on a number of occasions this season and the Hoops are now ready to make a bid. However Montpellier president Louis Nicollin says that Rangers have joined Celtic in the chase for the club’s player of the year. (The Sun)
- Celtic forward Teemu Pukki’s permanent move to Brondby could be on the verge of collapsing if the Parkhead club don’t lower their asking price.
The 25-year-old has been on loan at the Danish team this season and the Danes are keen to make the switch permanent but the club’s sporting director Per Rud has said: “The price that has been set, we won’t pay.
