Former Hearts midfielder Scott Robinson has signed for his old Jambos boss Gary Locke at Kilmarnock. The 23-year-old has signed a three year deal with the Rugby Park side.

Rangers midfielder Ian Black could be set to move south, with Preston North End interested in securing his signature. Black’s Ibrox contract expired at the end of the season and he could now join the recently promoted Championship club. (Daily Mail)
Aston Villa are looking to sign Scotland left back Andy Robertson. The former Queen’s Park and Dundee United defender impressed in his debut season south of the border with Hull, however, following the Tigers’ relegation, Tim Sherwood is hoping to bring him to Villa Park.
Competition is heating up for the signature of NEC Nijmegen striker Alireza Jahanbakhsh. Celtic, Norwich and Anderlecht have been joined by PSV Eindhoven and AZ Alkmaar in the chase for the striker who is valued at £2.5million.
Celtic youngster Holmbert Fridjonsson is looking to remain in Norway after a successful loan spell. The 22-year old striker spent the 2014/15 season on loan at Brondby and, although he is now due to return to Glasgow, he is keen to remain in Norway. (Inside Futbol)
Motherwell have signed Celtic left-back Joe Chalmers on a two-year deal. The 21-year-old spent part of last season on loan at Falkirk. (Daily Record)
Motherwell could add another defender to next season’s squad in the shape of centre back Louis Laing. Laing spent the second half of the season on loan at Motherwell and is keen to make the move permanent when his Nottingham Forest contract expires this summer. (Evening Times)
