Aberdeen have appointed Gordon Marshall as the club’s new goalkeeper coach.
The Dons had been looking to appoint a new man to the position since Jim Leighton was let go at the end of the season and the club identified Marshall as the ideal candidate for the role.
The 51-year-old has coaching expereince at Hibs, Alloa and St Johnstone and has spent the last five years at Motherwell’s goalkeeper coach.
Marshall made over 700 appearances over the course of a 25 year playing career which saw him turn out for East Stirling, East Fife, Falkirk, Celtic, Stoke City, St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Motherwell.
