Our favourite Real Madrid youngsters are making transfer headlines again but for different reasons – one looks to be staying in Madrid, whereas the other one has left.
Closer to home, one of the most promising young players in Scotland has been the subject of an offer from Rangers.
However, it is not all about young kids today – the Ibrox side could be set to add a 33-year-old to their midfield
Meanwhile, further south Manchester United and Paris St-Germain are looking to do business.

- Ronny Deila has suggested Real Madrid wonderkid Martin Odegaard will not be joining Celtic on loan.
There has been plenty of rumours suggesting the 16-year-old was Parkhead-bound but speaking to Norwegian newspaper VG, Deila said: “It is something that has been invented by the media. It’s certainly not something we have thought about.
“I think Martin has to be in Madrid now. He is a wonderful boy and a very good footballer. There has been no contact there. We have a good squad now.” (VG)
- Midfielder Jonathan Douglas, 33, could be the latest player to head to Ibrox.
Former Leeds United midfielder Douglas played under Rangers boss Mark Warburton at Brentford but has now been told he is free to leave the Bees. (Daily Express)
- Former Hearts and Rangers midfielder Ian Black, 30, has been offered a contract by Berwick Rangers after featuring for the League Two side as a trialist. (Various)
- Hibernian have rejected a £175,000 from Rangers for the club’s star midfielder Scott Allan.
Rangers are expected to return with another bid but Hibs are determined to hold onto their star man. (Daily Mail)
- Former Hearts and Rangers defender Marius Zaliukas could be heading to Kilmarnock.
The central defender would be the fifth ex-Jambo to join the Ayrshire side this summer. (Evening News)
- Dundee United striker Henri Anier could be heading for the exit door at Tannadice, however, he has rejected a move to Polish side Wisla Krakow. (Daily Express)
- Middlesbrough are considering a £14million move for Scotland and Blackburn striker Jordan Rhodes – the move would be a league record. (Daily Star)
