Dundee United attacker Robbie Muirhead is going head to head with Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and Lionel Messi for Uefa’s goal of the season.
The former Kilmarnock forward’s superb 40 yard strike for Scotland in the under-19 European Championships qualifier against Norway last season has been viewed more than 100,000 times, helping Muirhead make the shortlist for the award alongside the Real Madrid and Barcelona superstars.
Uefa reporters, correspondents and editors have whittled the list of wonder goals down to a shortlist of 10 and football fans across the world are being encouraged to make their choice online.
The winning goal will be announced on August 27 when the Uefa Champions League group stage draw is made.
