Celtic have draw Swedish champions Malmo in the Champions League play-off.
The Hoops will play the first leg at home on August 18/19 before travelling to the 24,000 capacity Swedbank Stadium for the return leg on August 25/26.
The Swedish side, managed by Age Hareide, reached last year’s Champions League group stages where they faced Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Olympiacos.
This year, Malmo edged past Lithuanian side Žalgiris Vilnius with a 1-0 aggregate win in the second qualifying round.
In the third qualifying round Celtic flop Jo Inge Berget helped guide Malmo to victory. The Norwegian setting up two goals as the Swedes knocked out Red Bull Salzburg 3-2 on aggregate.
Malmo have enjoyed their recent visits to Scotland – the Swedes knocked Rangers out of the Champions League qualifiers in 2011 before brushing Hibs aside 9-0 on aggregate in 2013.
