Celtic transfer target Kristoffer Ajer would be an excellent signing according to IK Start team mate Espen Hoff.
The Hoops have been rumoured to be preparing a move for the 17-year-old midfielder, who is already captain of the Norwegian club, and have had him watched in recent matches.
He joined Lillestrom last year and made his debut as a playmaker for Start aged only 16.
Other clubs said to be interested in him include PSG and several English top-tier clubs.
Speaking to the Evening Times, his team mate, Espen Hoff, said: “Ajer is undoubtedly the most talented player we have seen in this club for a very long time, and maybe also the most exciting talent in Norway at the moment.
“I believe he could develop to his potential in a club like Celtic, and grow into an asset for the club.”
