Just like every other day of the summer, today’s transfer headlines have been dominated by an Old Firm club chasing Hibernian midfielder Scott Allan.
Unlike the rest of the summer, the Old Firm club in question has not been Rangers. Celtic have joined the race to sign the talented 23-year-old in the most dramatic of twists to this transfer saga.
Elsewhere Aberdeen and Hibs are working on strengthening their squads, while two Scotland internationals could secure moves to Premier League clubs.

- Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has confirmed that the club are monitoring Red Star Belgrade forward Josh Parker amid reports the Dons could sign the Antigua and Barbuda international on loan.

- Sunderland are looking to sign Scotland forward Jordan Rhodes who was the subject of a reported £12m bid from Middlesbrough earlier in the summer.
- Hibs are considering signing former Sunderland and Accrington Stanley defender Michael Liddle, who can play at centre half and left back.
The 25-year-old has joined the Easter Road side on trial and will remain in Edinburgh for the rest of the week.
