Ross County have started the season well and find themselves in the top half of the league, however, they face a tough afternoon tomorrow against Hearts, who sit top of the league with three wins from their opening three matches.
Ross County team news
- The Staggies will assess Scott Boyd’s neck injury ahead of the visit of Hearts. The defender’s stiff neck forced him to miss the midweek draw against St Johnstone.
- Manager Jim McIntyre has no fresh injury doubts for the game.
Hearts team news
- Striker Juanma should be fit to play his part for the Jambos after he was left on the bench for Wednesday night’s 2-0 win over Motherwell with a groin strain.
- Miguel Pallardo will miss the game but should only be kept out by an Achilles problem for another fortnight.
- Forward Soufian El Hassnaoui is sidelined until November with a knee injury.
Hearts boss Robbie Neilson says
“It will be difficult. It is probably our hardest game yet. We are coming off two hard games and have had only two days’ prep before travelling up to Ross County, which is the furthest we will travel.
“We could only train for an hour before making the journey because we have to recover from Wednesday night.
“County played on Tuesday so have had an extra day’s prep. They are a good side who finished last season strongly, so it will be difficult.”
