Two of the Premiership’s form teams meet tomorrow at Pittodrie as Aberdeen host Dundee.
The Dons have won all three Premiersgames this season while Dundee have gained a number of plaudits for a number of impressive early season displays.
Aberdeen team news
- Willo Flood and Peter Pawlett are both struggling with ankle injuries and are doubtful for the match.
- Forward Josh Parker could feature following his loan move from Red Star Belgrade.
- Defender Mark Reynolds remains sidelined following shoulder surgery.
Dundee team news
- Midfielder Nicky Low will miss the trip to face former club Aberdeen with a groin injury, while Rory Loy is struggling with a similar injury.
- Dundee are hopeful that Kevin Thomson (calf) and James McPake (dead leg) will make the clash.
- Kosta Gadzhalov is expected to remain on the sidelines with shoulder problems while teenage defender Cammy Kerr has joined Peterhead on loan.
Aberdeen goalkeeper Danny Ward says
“I’ve not seen too much of him (Dundee keeper Scott Bain) but I did see the save he made in the Dundee United game, which was world class.
“You take your hat off to anyone who can pull off a save like that.
“I’ve heard good things from various people around Scotland about him so it will be good to come up against him and to get to know him a bit.”
Dundee manager Paul Hartley says
“We’re under no illusions.
“We all know Aberdeen are a quality side but it’s one we’re really looking forward to.
“We always like to express ourselves and that’s what we’ll try and do again at Pittodrie.
“They have got players in the final third who can cause you problems.
“That’s what we have to watch out for but, at the same time, I think with the players we’ve got we’ll always have a go.
“It’s away from home which will make it different but we are hopeful of putting on a good show and getting a positive result.”
