Last night Celtic exited the Champions League and today’s reports suggest three members of the Celtic squad are heading for the exit door at Parkhead.
It isn’t all outgoings in the east end of Glasgow, however, with the club looking to sign a striker from the English Premier League.
Meanwhile youngsters from Kilmarnock and Partick Thistle are close to securing moves south of the border, while a number of lower league clubs have made signings today.
Here’s a quick look at all of today’s transfer news.
- Celtic are looking to sign striker Aston Villa striker Libor Kozak.
Villa paid Lazio £7million to sign the forward two years ago but he has slipped down the pecking order at Villa Park, with summer signings Rudi Gestede, Jordan Ayew and Adama Traore, as well as Gabriel Agbonlahor and Scott Sinclair all keeping him out the team.
Villa boss Tim Sherwood is hoping to also sign Roma forward Adem Ljajic and is willing to let Kozak leave in a cut price deal. (Daily Express).
- Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk looks to have played his final game for the Hoops as Southampton close in on a deal which would see him join ex Celtic team mates Fraser Forster and Victor Wanyama at St Mary’s.
Following Tuesday night’s defeat against Malmo, van Dijk all but conceded he is on his way out of Parkhead. (Press and Journal)

- Norwich manager Alex Neil has admitted he may sell former Celtic striker Gary Hooper. The Hoops are currently favourites to sign the forward. (Scottish Sun)
- Young Kilmarnock goalkeeper Devlin Mackay, 18, could be set for a move south of the border.

- Former Celtic loanee Jason Denayer is set for another loan spell but must choose between a move to Turkey and a switch to France.
Manchester City are happy to loan the player out again but he must choose between Galatasaray and Marseille who are both keen to sign him on season long deals.
