Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk is understood to currently be undergoing a medical at Southampton ahead of his £11million move.
The Saints have been one of a number of Premier League clubs linked with the Dutch defender this summer, however, manager Ronald Koeman is now on the verge of completing the signing of the defender on a five year deal.
Celtic have signed Tyler Blackett on loan from Manchester United as a replacement for the outgoing Van Dijk, while centre half Jozo Simunovic, 21, is also on the verge of signing from Dinamo Zagreb in a deal worth around £5million.
Celtic are also expected to announce the signing of Ryan Christie from Inverness Caley Thistle this afternoon.
