It has finally arrived, after weeks of transfer tales rumours and general nonsense, deadline day is amongst us!
Across the SPFL clubs are looking to strengthen in the cheapest way possible so expect plenty of loan moves.
One club who will be splashing the cash are Celtic who are expected to spend over £5million bring in two players, mind you they are expecting to receive over £11million for the sale of just one man.
Talking of splashing the cash, there will be plenty of that going on in England.
- Inverness Caley Thistle are closing in on the loan signing of striker Miles Storey, 21, from Swindon. (Press and Journal)
- Chelsea are looking to sign former Aberdeen defender Michael Hector from Reading. The Blues reportedly face competition from Crystal Palace for the 23-year-old’s signature. (HITC)
- Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk has agreed a five year deal with Southampton and has undergone his medical at the south coast club ahead of his £11.5m move. (Daily Record)
- Hibs are on the verge of signing Chelsea youngster Islam Feruz on a season long loan after failing with a similar bid to sign Stevie May. (Daily Mail)
- Talking of Stevie May, the striker is on the verge of completing a permanent transfer from Sheffield Wednesday to Preston North End. (Press and Journal)
- Celtic have agreed a four year deal with Inverness Caley Thistle midfielder Ryan Christie and will announce the signing of the midfielder this afternoon. The 20-year-old will spend the first of his four years back on loan at Inverness. (Daily Record)
- Celtic are also close to signing Dinamo Zagreb centre half Jozo Šimunović. The two clubs agreed a fee around the £5million mark and Šimunović is believed to have undergone his Celtic medical.
- Cowdenbeath are set to sign Rangers midfielder Andy Murdoch on loan.

- Partick Thistle have signed Dundee United forward Robbie Muirhead on loan.

- Alloa have signed Robbie Crawford on loan from Rangers.
- Following the signing of Billy Mckay, Dundee United are looking to further boost their attacking options and have opened talks with Fulham over a loan deal for striker Adam Taggart.

- Dundee have signed Aston Villa winger Riccardo Calder on loan until January.

- Anthony Martial has completed his medical at Manchester United, with the Monaco attacker expected to complete his move shortly.
- West Ham have had a busy morning, signing Victor Moses on loan from Chelsea, Alex Song on loan from Barcelona and Nikica Jelavic on a permanent deal from Hull City.
- Everton have signed defender Ramiro Funes Mori from River Plate for £9.5m.
- Leicester and Norwich are competing for the signature of Stoke City forward Jonathan Walters (Sky Sports)
- Everton are closing in on the signing of Aaron Lennon from Tottenham for £5m.
- Joleon Lescott has completed his medical at Aston Villa ahead of signing from West Brom.
- Chelsea have signed defender Papy Djilobodji from Nantes for £4million.
