Aberdeen forward Niall McGinn has praised the impact Derek McInnes made in his first season as Dons manager.
The Northern Ireland international says McInnes, who replaced Craig Brown towards the end of the 2012-13 camapaign, says McInnes’ work ethic is second to none.
The Dons finished third – their first top six placing for five years – and won the League Cup during a highly successful season.
McGinn, 26, said: “Derek grabbed the bull by the horns. His training has been very good and enjoyable.
“He’s just a positive man and the work he puts in behind the scenes is crazy.
“He’s the first one to arrive in the morning and the last one to leave in the afternoon.
“He works very hard and strives to make the club better and for me, personally, he’s been great.”
