Scotland face Poland next month in a crucial Euro 2016 qualifying match and it appears the Poles’ star man is going into the game in rather impressive form.
Robert Lewandowski was rested for Bayern Munich’s game against Wolfsburg last night, however, with Munich trailing 1-0 at half time, manager Pep Guardiola brought on the Polish striker who proceeded to score five goals in a stunning nine minute spell.

The 27-year-old began his scoring spree in the 51st minute and had completed the fastest hat-trick in Bundesliga history four minutes later as Wolfsburg, runners-up to Bayern in the top-flight last season, were repeatedly caught cold.
Lewandowski volleyed in his fourth from close range in the 57th minute before completing his haul on the hour mark with a staggering acrobatic effort.
Speaking after the game, Lewandoski described himself as “very, very satisfied”, he said: “This was just crazy. Five goals, that’s just unbelievable. I just wanted to shoot and wasn’t thinking about what happened afterwards. I am very, very satisfied. This was a great evening for me.
“I look up at the board after the third or fourth goal and I was surprised there was still so much time left to play. The coach did not have to tell me anything. I knew what had to be done.”
