Aberdeen FC: Shinnie to miss Inverness game and Flood out for weeks

Derek McInnes has confirmed the fears of Aberdeen fans with news that Graeme Shinnie will miss the trip to Caley Thistle this weekend.

Willo Flood has also been confirmed as having picked-up an ankle injury that could sideline him for between four and six weeks.

Derek McInnes said: “Willo has recurrence of his ankle problem and could be out for four to six weeks, we’ll have a better idea re Graeme in a couple of days.

“Hopefully we can cope without key players and we’ll have Jonny back which is a boost.”
