Aberdeen’s Graeme Shinnie has been handed his first international call up ahead of Scotland’s double header against Poland and Gibraltar.
Gordon Strachan named his squad for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers this afternoon at Hampden and included the versatile Dons 24-year-old in his 27 man pool.
Derby defender Craig Forsyth and Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong drop out from Strachan’s last squad, with recalls for in-form Wolves midfielder Kevin McDonald and free-scoring Blackburn forward Jordan Rhodes.
Charlie Mulgrew remains in the squad but is a “major doubt” according to Celtic boss Ronny Deila.

Ricky Sbragia also named his under-21 squad for the home double-header against France and Iceland in Aberdeen.
Aberdeen striker Lawrence Shankland, currently on loan at St Mirren, was named in the squad, alongside former Dons Ryan Fraser and Declan McManus and Caley Thistle midfielder Ryan Christie.
