Ross County have bolstered their attacking options by completing the signing of Dutch forward Alex Schalk until the end of the season.
Former Netherlands under-21 international Schalk has been on trial with the Staggies in recent weeks, playing in the 6-0 Development League defeat to Falkirk last week, and has impressed manager Jim McIntyre enough to be awarded a contract with the Dingwall side.
After starting his career with Dutch outfit NAC Breda, Schalk moved to Go Ahead Eagles last summer and scored four goals in 22 appearances, but was unable to prevent his team being relegated from the Eredivisie.
McIntyre was keen to add a forward, with Craig Curran still sidelined by the effects of concussion sustained in the 4-0 win against Kilmarnock in August.
