Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes is determined to end his club’s poor league record at Parkhead this weekend.
The Dons have lost their last 20 league matches at Parkhead and have not beaten the Hoops on their own patch since an injury time winner from John Stewart gave Jimmy Calderwood’s men a 3-2 victory in October 2004.
Aberdeen have enjoyed success at Parkhead under McInnes – winning a Scottish Cup encounter last February – and defeated the Hoops 2-1 at Pittodrie last month.
McInnes, who confirmed defenders Ash Taylor and Andrew Considine are fit to face the Hoops, said: “That doesn’t make good reading. We have had a few bites at it ourselves to try to reverse that trend.
“The performance a few weeks ago at Pittodrie was similar to a couple of our games at Parkhead, but we didn’t manage to get the result we were looking for in those away games.
“Against any team we have got to get the right balance between attacking and defending, but especially at Parkhead.”
