Huntly have granted manager Gregg Carrol an “an indefinite leave of absence for personal reasons”.
The Black and Golds, who are currently fourth bottom of the Highland League, were beaten 6-0 by Formartine United at the weekend.
A short statement on the Huntly website said: “Huntly FC today confirmed that manager Gregg Carrol has submitted a request for an indefinite leave of absence for personal reasons.
“The club has agreed to this request and it will take effect immediately.
“Assistant manager Mark Gray will take charge of all first team matters in the interim.”
Last month, Huntly progressed to the third round of the Scottish Cup with a 2-1 win against SPFL side East Stirling.
