Ross County supporters have been spared a travel nightmare after their League Cup semi-final against holders Celtic was confirmed as a 3pm kick-off. There were fears the game would be played at lunchtime, meaning no trains would arrive in Glasgow in time for the game. But the SPFL has confirmed the match will be played at Hampden on Sunday, January 31, 2016 with a 3pm kick-off. Jim McIntyre’s side beat Caley Thistle in their quarter-final last month while Ronny Deila’s Celtic beat Hearts. The other semi-final between Hibernian and St Johnstone will be played at Tynecastle in Edinburgh on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 3pm. The final will be held at Hampden on Sunday, March 13.
