Former Aberdeen attacker Chris Maguire has joined English League Two outfit Oxford United on loan.
Maguire joined Rotherham in the summer after three successful years at Sheffield Wednesday but has now moved to the League Two side on loan until January 16.
The 26-year-old forward began his career at Pittodrie, making his debut as a 17-year-old before going on to make over 150 appearances for the Dons.
Oxford boss Michael Appleton told the club’s official website: “I’ve worked with him before and know he will fit in here. He is a full international, he has played at a higher level, and he has a fantastic winning mentality.
“He will want to impress here and can play in a number of roles across the front line.”
