Raith Rovers defender Reece Donaldson is to join League 2 champions Peterhead after impressing Blue Toon manager Jim McInally during a loan spell at Balmoor last season.
The 20-year-old played seven times for McInally during a two-month loan deal and he also featured 11 times for the Kirkcaldy side last season.
He has opted to head north after being released by the Stark’s Park club.
McInally said: “Reece was a free agent and called me to say he would like to come to us. I suggested he may want to find a full time club in the summer but he said that his mind was made up and he wanted to come to Peterhead.
“I was delighted with that as he did well here. He has committed to join us and we are now getting the paperwork drawn up.”
