Celtic are in for a chaotic January transfer window if today’s news is anything to go by.
The Hoops have been linked with five players today, while one man could be on his way out of Parkhead.
Elsewhere, Caley Thistle have completed a crucial piece of business, while Hearts, Hibs and Dundee are also chasing players to strengthen their squads.

- Celtic have taken long term Norwegian target Kristoffer Ajer on trial.
The 17-year-old IK Start midfielder will train with the Hoops for a week to allow Ronny Deila to cast a closer eye over him. (BBC Sport)
- The agent of Celtic target Aleksandar Pantic has opened the door on a move to Parkhead.
Zoran Krneta, who also represents Hoops defender Jozo Simunovic, said: “Aleksandar would definitely consider Celtic. They are a big club. I have a good relationship with them and if they want to talk about Aleksandar, we will do that.” (Scottish Sun)
- Celtic are reportedly considering a move for Dutch target man Wout Weghorst after his potential move to Cardiff collapsed.
The 6ft 5in striker currently plays for Heracles Almelo who are believed to be looking for a fee of over £2million. (Wales Online)
- Celtic are keen to continue their plundering of Dundee United’s top talents by signing youngster John Souttar.
The 19-year-old is out of contract this summer and the Hoops look set to swoop although Arabs boss Mixu Paatelainen is confident he will sign a new Tannadice deal. (The Scotsman)
- Reports in Spain suggest Celtic are looking to sign Athletic Bilbao striker Borja Viguera on loan, however, the Hoops have denied interest in the 28-year-old forward. (The Scotsman)

- So far in the transfer window, Rangers have brought in attacker Harry Forrester and goalkeeper Maciej Gostomski but now they could let one of their players go.

- Hearts are considering a move for Livingston’s 16-year-old striker Matthew Knox.

- Caley Thistle have extended the loan deal of forward Miles Storey from Swindon Town until the end of the season.
- Hearts have cancelled the contract of midfielder Kenny Anderson.The 23-year-old joined the Jambos from Dutch side RKC Waalwijk last January and got off to a bright start at Tynecastle last season but has struggled to break into the team this campaign.
- Former Aberdeen youngster Jack Grimmer has joined Shrewsbury Town on loan from Fulham until the end of the season. The 21-year-old joined the Town on a similar deal last season.

- Rangers midfielder Robbie Crawford has extended his loan deal at Alloa.
- Winger Wullie Gibson has left Dumbarton after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
- Scott Brown has returned to parent club St Johnstone his loan spell at Dumbarton came to an end.
