Ross County forward Brian Graham is confident his side can make amends against Dunfermline tomorrow after being held to a 2-2 Scottish Cup fourth-round draw at East End Park on Saturday.
The teams will meet at Victoria Park tomorrow with a place in the last 16 of the Scottish Cup the reward.
The Staggies were twice in front against the League 1 leaders through Alex Schalk and a Brian Graham penalty but the Pars deservedly earned a replay through goals from Faissal El Bakhtaoui and Brad McKay.
Graham said: “Dunfermline played well and are a good outfit. They have some players who have played at a higher level.
“We knew this was going to be a difficult tie. We did well to go 2-1 ahead but they edged it in the second half. We will go again.
“We thought we could get the job done but it wasn’t to be. We can’t dwell on the performance. We will look to Tuesday at our home ground where hopefully we can get the victory.”
Graham had not started for County since October because of a groin strain but was given a chance to impress with leading-scorer Liam Boyce and Craig Curran both absent due to injury.
He said: “They have been playing well, so I couldn’t complain. I was out injured for nearly two months and I tired in the last 10 minutes.
“I need to get my fitness levels back up but it was good to be back on the pitch and getting the goal was a bonus.
“We have got great competition for places. We all want to be playing, so we have four players wanting to play in two positions. It is going to be a tough.”
Graham was involved in the game’s most controversial moment when he appeared to collide with Pars defender Jason Talbot in the build-up to County being awarded a penalty for McKay’s rash challenge on Schalk.
The Pars were furious Graham was not penalised but the former Dundee United forward felt it was the correct decision.
He said: “The left back Talbot ran in and I tried to block him.
“He was nowhere near the ball and the ball was already away. There was nothing in it.”
County had goalkeeper Scott Fox to thank for an excellent save in the dying moments, tipping a long-range effort from El Bakhtaoui on to the crossbar.
Graham added: “It was a great stop. That is what he can do – he is one of the best goalkeepers in the top flight and probably kept us in the tie in the last 10 minutes of the game.”
