A new day in the transfer window has brought us plenty of new material, as well as bringing back one of the oldest transfer tales in the Scottish Premiership.
Celtic failed in their bid to sign Steven Fletcher in the summer but they could now get their man on a pre-contract deal, the Hoops have also been linked with two young players today, while Anthony Stokes seems to be edging closer to the Parkhead exit.
Elsewhere Aberdeen have been linked with a former Scotland midfielder, a £1million bid could be on its way to Tannadice and Falkirk have re-signed one of their promising youngsters on loan.

- Aberdeen are reportedly looking to sign Scotland cap Don Cowie on loan from Wigan.
The Dons have been linked with a similar move for Southampton striker Sam Gallagher. (Daily Express)

- Parkhead is the “most likely” destination for Scotland striker Steven Fletcher when his Sunderland contract expires this summer.
The former Hibs forward has been linked with a big money move – to Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua, however, reports today suggest that Celtic are leading the chase for his signature. (Sunderland Echo)
- Celtic are looking to sign midfielder Bersant Celina on loan from Manchester City.
Hoops boss Ronny Deila and assistant John Collins have opened talks with City over a loan deal for the Kosovan midfielder, who played under Deila at Stromsgodset. (Daily Record)
- Celtic target Kristoffer Ajer appears to be keen on a move to Parkhead.

- Hibs have approached Celtic over the possibility of signing Parkhead striker Anthony Stokes on loan until the end of the season.
