Ross County’s departure list has increased to three after Alex Cooper and Gary Glen joined goalkeeper Michael Fraser in being released from the club.
Midfielder Cooper, son of former assistant manager Neale, who was also released this week, made 17 appearances for the club this season while forward Glen made 16 appearances for the club.
County manager Derek Adams admits he is unable to offer the players regular first team football and says there will be more players leaving the club as he reshapes his squad for next season’s Scottish Premiership campaign.
He said: “Gary and Alex made good contributions to the first team and we wish them well in the future. They need regular matches and that is something I wasn’t in a position to offer.
“There will be more to follow and we’re in the process of speaking to all of the players who will and will not be offered contracts.”
