Nathan Oduwa has returned to Tottenham early from a season-long loan at Rangers.
The 19-year-old midfielder confirmed in a post on social media was ending his time at Ibrox.
“My time at Rangers has come to an end, but I’ll like to thank everyone associated with Rangers for making me feel at home both on & off the field,” Oduwa posted.
“I wanna wish the players good luck for the rest off the season & hope they get Rangers back to the Scottish Premiership.”
Oduwa made 19 appearances for the Scottish Championship side – the last coming away against Falkirk on December 19.
Rangers boss Mark Warburton is still trying to strengthen his squad and has seen two offers for St Johnstone forward Michael O’Halloran turned down but is reportedly closing in on the 25-year-old after preparing a fresh £500,000 offer.
Brentford’s Toumani Diagouraga is also, according to reports from England, nearing his own switch to Ibrox.
The Gers have already welcomed winger Harry Forrester and goalkeeper Maciej Gostomski into the Gers’ dressing room since the transfer window opened.
