Rangers have had a bid accepted for St Johnstone winger Michael O’Halloran.
The Ibrox side are believed to have met St Johnstone’s asking price of £500,000, with a deal involving an up-front sum and a number of additional clauses.
O’Halloran is now expected to complete his medical later today.
Rangers have also confirmed that their lunchtime press conference has been pushed back to 4pm, adding to speculation that the deal to sign the St Johnstone man will be completed this afternoon.
O’Halloran has netted five goals and set up nine more this season, with his pace, close control and composure convincing Gers boss Mark Warburton that he is the man to help fire Rangers to the Championship title.
The Glasgow club failed with two previous bids for the Saints wide man earlier this month but they revived the move with the latest offer this morning.
The Ibrox side are also expected to complete the signing of young Wolves winger Mehki Leacock-McLeod later today.
