Ross County have launched a deadline day bid to sign Aberdeen forward David Goodwillie on loan.
Staggies manager Jim McIntyre is looking to add to his attacking options following recent injuries to Liam Boyce and Craig Curran and believes Goodwillie fits the bill.
Goodwillie, 26, has struggled to tie down a starting spot in the Dons team this season due to the form of Adam Rooney and may be open to the loan move.
The former Dundee United man has featured in 25 Dons games this season but has scored just twice, with both goals coming in the same game, against Hearts in September.
However, the Dons are unlikely to allow Goodwillie to leave on loan before securing a replacement.
